Hand Painted Silk Ties

We are a London based, family run business with over 40 years experience painting truly unique ties. Our ties are made of pure silk and are painted by hand in our studio. We offer a range of sizes to suit your needs. All of the dyes we use are heat treated and permanent.

Some of our designs are online-only exclusives, limited editions or one of our bestselllers from our stall in Covent Garden. Either way you can expect a high quality, intricately painted item that is a world away from the mass produced mainstream.

  • Our Size Guide

    We offer three different widths of ties to suit your needs:

    Our narrowest offering is our skinny tie which measures 5cm/2inches at the blade and 150/59inches in length.

    Our slimline tie is slightly wider measuring 8cm/3inches at the blade and 152cm/60inches in length.

    Our standard tie is an industry standard width of 9cm/3.5inches at the blade and 152cm/60inches in length.

  • Some General Guidelines

    Whilst a lot comes down to personal preference the following information may be helpful:

    Skinny: Works well with tall or slender frames. Popular choice for younger buyers and becoming increasingly popular among women.

    Slimline: Works well with average or athletic frames. A good all-round, classic option and a popular choice for weddings.

    Standard: Works well with shorter or broader frames. Perfect for wider knots such as the classic Windsor or Balthus knot.

  • Our Studio

    All of our ties have our studio label on the back and each one is also signed for authenticity.

    All of our ties come in recycleable packaging and letterbox friendly boxes.
